If they offer menu in IFE, i don't really care about the menu. You know, they will push the trolly out and just tell you "today we have chicken, beef or fish. Which one would you like?" If I have the menu (paper or IFE), I could know more about which dish I would like to choose, and I could have a little time to decide. Also, I can know which 2 signature drinks they offer on that flight.
After all, I'm just complaining the decline of their service level. I could still travel to my destination without welcome drink, menu, or even meal. I just felt disappointed that CX J service, which gave me great experience before, is going down.
Understand you frustration but there is one point I wanted to clarify. I thought in J class they will still bring out - even in short flight on a tray the choice of main course. So you can visually see what is on offer? Or did the crew even omitted this step?
