This policy makes Travelocity a lot less attractive in those cases. Just ran a test booking on Orbitz for the same chains and they all came up ineligible too. Forgive my 'online travel' ignorance, but are Travelocity & Orbitz affiliated? Interesting that several large booking sites have applied these 'major hotel chain' restrictions at the same time.
Agree, I did the calcs on quite a few stays, and it's often worth forfeiting the points. Afterall, ICs have to honour my RA status anyway
