I then asked about any retention bonus. And she was thrilled that I brought that up and offered me 15k to stay on. No min spend. I hitched on for another year. So you may have to ask for the retention bonus if the rep is not forthcoming with it.
Good to know. I just went the coy route, and got no offer to retain my United MileagePlus Explorer. I've only put about $3k in spend on it in 2013, but we spent about $20k in the last 5 months of 2012. You would think that would be worth something, but I guess you have to ask!
