I was going to pick up a family member at the airport on Friday night. Both Flightaware and ual.com showed an arrival time that was about an hour later than what the map seemed to show.

Specifically, ual.com and Flightaware were showing an arrival time of 12:21 AM, but the map showed the flight as being much further along. In fact, the flight landed at about 10:58 P.M. Both ual.com and Flightaware had the wrong time until about the time the plane actually landed.

Interestingly, when I used the Android/Google Search generic flight information function, I got a time which was much more in the ballpark.

I'm posting this here and not not in the United forum because it involves Flightaware, and perhaps there are similar glitches with other carriers.

Anyone have any idea what is going on here (there were no ATC holds at the destination airport)?
