I haven't seen much styrofoam in years - at least not as a plate. Even in rural truck stops where I see it as a drink cup, I'm mildly shocked that it's still being used at all.

I can't stand the stuff and won't even use it as a drink cup. I think that sentiment is pretty common these days, even among people who don't consider themselves otherwise all that "green". Some local governments have outlawed it.

Even the big fast-food chains don't use it anymore.
