True, that is a drawback.

I disagree on both these points. I find the spinner wheels no worse and no better over rough ground. (Note I'm talking in particular about Rimowa spinner wheels, I have had other makes of spinners which weren't so nice to roll with).

And to run for a gate i find the spinners much, much quicker (and if you prefer you can still pull it like a 2-wheeler if you prefer). It just feels more natural to have your hand in front of you while running.
