Samsonite 25" EZ Cart?

Hi! My husband is a regular user on flyertalk but mine is a new account. Please to meet you!

We travel for pleasure about 4 times per year. I have a Samsonite Silhouette 5 EZ Cart that I purchased in the mid-1990's and it has done me VERY well, both domestically in the US, as well as to Ireland and a few trips each to England and Japan. However the zipper has already been replaced once and is starting to "go" again, and after almost 20 years of usage, I'm seriously considering a replacement.

I would LOVE to get hard sided spinner luggage but with the way I bring my suitcase up staircases (I'm very petite - only 4'6.5" and, using the handle with both hands, literally have to DRAG it up the stairs, step by thumping step), I'm afraid I would break the wheels off on the first trip. I really need something that has stationary, rather than spinning back wheels.

I see that Samsonite now has a 21" EZ Cart and a ("sold out due to overwhelming popularity???" but available at Macy's, Amazon, etc.) 25" version. The 25" one is the same size as "my" EZ Cart and is 4# lighter (I know 14# is not light but I'm willing to deal). I'm interested. However I'm concerned about (A) the 25" one already being discontinued without an updated version, (B) the big wheels in the back are on the corner, which could mean the wheels would break if the suitcase was (ahem) carefully laid down by airport employees and landed on a corner (they were about 2" in on the "old" EZ Carts) and (C) the lack of useful reviews - I read how people like/dislike the size/shape/telescoping arm, but not much about its overall durability.

Have any of your good people used this new Samsonite 25" EZ Cart and if so, what did you think about it? Thanks!
