The only cattle farmers that are making any $$$ are the ones that are large enough to have proper vertical integration. Im talking about those that have the heads of cattle, are able to slaughter their own animals and then have their own retail outlets. This involves quite a large organization, but unless you are able to have the entire business under your own corporate umbrella, its impossible to capture the margins.
