Further drinks should be readily available (a push of the call button can help with this). Service should also be front to back as this reduces the risk of GCHs (for whom the front rows are reserved) not getting their first choice of food.
Well actually with Afternoon tea, the standard is to serve the food, offer tea and coffee and then offer a drink.

A pre-meal drinks round with nuts is done on Band 3 flights where a main meal is served.

However, this crew hiding behind the curtain is not a good service and they should have been proactively walking the cabin and checking on the passengers throughout the flight, offering drinks etc.

BA, in fact, encourage us not to close the curtain on shorthaul flights except when visiting the flight deck and if crew are eating or if it is a night sector. It does have the affect of making passengers feel neglected!!

Afternoon tea is served up to 5 pm now. Please do write in and let BA know these new timings are too late.

Afternoon tea used to be 14.00 until 16.30 but now goes on until 17.00.
Brunch (used to be called Extended Breakfast) used to be 10.00 until 11.30 and now is 09.30 until 12.00, way too late.
