Under terms and conditions on the application for AA cc it says: Please allow four weeks from date of submission to process a completed application. Hope it is not that long.
It can actually take longer. If they want a tax form from you, expect to get the form about 3 weeks after applying, then another 2-3 weeks from the time you mail it before they would review and likely approve (+ a second credit pull)
