The sure shot way to check for an op-up is around an hour or so before the flight departure, after you've had your BP issued. At that point in time, go to manage my booking, and see what your seat is showing. If it says 'none', it means your seat has 'changed'. IME, there are typically two reasons why your seat may have changed.
1. You got an op-up.
2. You requested for a different seat at check-in.

Since I never change my seat from the one I've allocated during olci, the only reason EK load managers will change the seat of a premium FF pax is to give him an op-up. Has worked for me 100% of the time.
