Local office issues.
I suspect local office issues are causing my problem

There is a BA reservations line but no BAEC line that I am aware of for Ireland.

Having said that, I am very surprised this is happening to me and that I seem to be the first person it's happening to (or at least to mention it on FTm which is practically the same thing ). There are many BAEC members in Ireland and still more since BA absorbed the Diamond Club members.
