Just called to cancel my Chase United Club. Pretty good amount of spending on it. Lots of VR's too. Switched to a specialist to cancel. Was offered $95 downgrade to explorer. I then asked about any retention bonus. And she was thrilled that I brought that up and offered me 15k to stay on. No min spend. I hitched on for another year. So you may have to ask for the retention bonus if the rep is not forthcoming with it.
