Don't worry guys... I have already repost this question as soon as I saw Djlawman's post. He(My relative) will be going to the interviews... but will be expecting it to be tough since there will be so many competition. Funny thing is that he is holding top elite level on one of the major airlines!

Although I am suppose to convince him, I told him to keep his confident level up but keep the hope level down. The higher the hope, the bigger the disappointment. One have to be real lucky to get through this and be hired... After all, a lot of us sometimes don't know how some of those frosty FAs are hired when we can do a better job than they do. With the amount some of us travel, I am sure we'll be at the top of the list if we go apply.

I always think those question they ask you at the interview are useless when compare to the job. When they ask you why do you want to work for them, is one going to say "I like to travel for free" versus " because you are a great company" How do you handle stress Are we suppose to answer "We will freak out" versus "Handle it clamly?" yet how many times have we seen FA freak out on us?

Bottom line is hire someone who can demonstrate they love travel, who can fake a smile and who consider safety is number one onboard any aircraft because we all know the airline teach the FA to be friendly to customer yet 80% of the time they are not!

Know I am not suppose to talk about this in "Buzz" but just my thoughts...
