Skip the fins (you don't need them) - water shoes are good (you can get nice ones that look more like sports slip-ons. I'd consider leaving the mask behind (give it to new arrivals) as the cost is typically so very low. Rub inside with shampoo/toothpaste to prevent fogging up.
