I would look at LX, very nice business class on your long haul and an efficient airport at ZRH for your transfer. Lufthanse doesn't have a full flat business seat, fine if you don't want to sleep... a little less when you do want to sleep :-).

Transfer time depends somewhat on the airport and the frequency of flights to you destination. For ZRH 1 hour is plenty, for FRA I would hesitate to do less than 1,5 hours.
