Probably a bit of a random question, but I've noticed BA are the only airline I have flown on who don't serve ice cream to all passengers.

Every long haul airline I have been on, including several charter airlines, although admittedly not any American carriers, have all served ice cream as a matter of course, almost like it would be unheard of not to eat ice cream on an aircraft.

First question is why BA don't follow the same routine, but secondly not being an ice cream lover particularly - what is the obsession on other carriers?
