I booked the W NY Time Square using FHR for a last minute trip as it offered a very good rate and a $100 food and beverage credit. You get what you pay for - the room was really junky - scratched up furniture, stained carpet, and lousy bathroom. Breakfast was a joke as you could only order room service from a door hanging with very limited selection that they gave you at checkin. Frankly, I do not want to eat breakfast in a small hotel room so did not like the fact that I could not go to the restaurant in order to utilize the breakfast amenity. The upgrade was to a room on a higher floor. The restaurant Blue Fin was the only good thing about the hotel and the FHR package.
