When I was approved for my CSP (on a Tuesday), I called up and explained that I needed the card because I was attending a dinner party on the weekend and would be "lucky" enough to be paying. They overnighted me the card via UPS.

I think I might be too late. I was approved on Monday and they said the card would be sent out the following day. So I suspect it is in the mail already. It's fine as my friend will be at my place for the next three weeks and I'm sure it will show up long before then.
