The elimination is for everyone.

Other than that, I'm not sure what you're saying. If you were gifted EXP this year, you're EXP. Or was that last year? If you make Platinum, you make Platinum and soft landing will be irrelevant. If you don't fly the 50K or the segments, you'll be whatever you actually earn.
