If you were at your job until 11:00 PM and asked to stay another one or two hours, would you? (Don't mention that you should 'cause you are getting paid). Maybe you don't want to stay that late at night. And just maybe, you have to report to work at 7:00 AM. Just sayin'
This has ALWAYS been a benefit of SC membership that they didn't boot you out the door if flights were delayed, they were open for you. Really no different than a restaurant who closes at 9 PM and someone walks in and orders dinner at 8:55. They generally stay and serve you.
