Put me in the "I love spinners" camp... never had a wheel problem, and my 24" from Samsonite has spent most of it's time with me bring dragged around airports, jumping up and down curbs and stairs, and has spent a few times being abused by baggage services... still has all its wheels.
I'm hoping that the new Kirkland Signature hardside 29" spinner will survive... it's supposedly made by Samsonite, so we'll see. It made the trip back to Stockholm in one piece, so that's a good start!
