I could take a connection at 2 AM to MAA, but I chose to get a good nights rest and take the afternoon flight to MAA instead. I will try my luck with the boarding pass/ticket combo. Lets wait and see. It was more academic since I am booking the Dubai Airport Hotel for my overnight rest and then connect to the flight to MAA at 14:30 hrs. That way I dont need to clear immigration and then come back in the morning for my flight. Therefore, I really dont need the lounge to rest as such. Just wondering if it was possible.

I travelled last year to JFK in F and had a long layover for which they put me up in Le Meridien. It was OK.
