I wish it was a policy in DTW to keep the main SC open if flights are delayed. There have been a couple times when there has been bad weather in DTW and a bunch of flights are delayed and they still close the main SC at 10 pm
And it would be great if they were open later in those cases when your flight cancels after 10 p.m.
In the past, the main DTW club did stay open late when flights were delayed, as did one club at MSP. I remember the PMNW DCA WC staying open late one evening shortly before the gates and lounges were consolidated.
I wouldn't necessarily expect this for one small flight with just a few passengers in the lounge, but I do expect it for a long haul flight or when multiple flights are affected.
