I used the iPad IFE on BA/OpenSkies recently. I really enjoyed using it. It was responsive and had a lot of current content. I don't recall that there was a moving map. There were a few games. I thought there should have been more. A good number of movies, though. I think I watched two movies from Paris to EWR.

I was in Premium Economy so there was an arm that came out from the armrest which you slide the iPad cover on. Coach pax also got the iPads and used them on the tray tables. The only thing I disliked was that there was no IFE until the FAs were able to hand them out above 10,000 feet and collected them 30 to 45 minutes before landing. I understand that it's a safety issue but it's not an issue with seatback screens.
