If all this is on one ticket and ticketed direct by LAN (no agency involved), you should be OK.
So it looks like , deplane at IQQ with your carry-ons, go through immigrations and get your carry-ons X-rayed by customs, resume your flight, possibly have to retrieve checked luggage at SCL and go through customs, recheck luggage if that happens, clear exit immigrations at the peak evening hours, get on your flight.
It was booked by my travel agent but ticketed through LAN on the one ticket.
Will I have to pay the visa reciprocity fee for chile even though I'm not leaving the airports?
