Yeah, all those soft-landed golds were tough competition. (As someone suggested up-thread before I posted my sarcasm, they compete for space mainly among themselves.)

BTW the news story I read mentioned that the more-seats-[maybe] announcement was made at a ceremony introducing the new USAir executives who'll soon be moving into AA offices. Reinforces my [uninformed] thought that they've become ever more involved in AA's go-forward planning.

For once there are a bunch of executives who are learning what it feels like to be a grunt worker who's just been downsized out of a job. My sincere sympathies to the ones who'd been doing a good job.
