Actually, if you got your last plat Visa & Amex >12-18 months ago, you should be able to get another plat. I had a plat Visa still open (they waived the annual fee and offered me a retention bonus) and got another plat Visa with 50k bonus in March (>18 mo's after 1st plat Visa app), then a Gold MC >1 month later. But now, I don't think I can get a plat MC.
