Conformance for Cabin Bags only should be scraped.. I had a similar incident where I was denied at conformance because of a delayed arrival and what made matters worse it that my connection was then delayed gate closing by 50 mins. I could have made it with lots of time to spare.

By the way where do connecting Domestic passengers undertake conformance.
