i don't take avis so i never cared about that and i hyatt diamond/platinum on my own anyway.

i'm keeping it because 1.5 miles per dollar isn't bad, no foreign transaction fees (although my capital one card does the same thing) and the clubs, even the crowded ones, still beats camping out on the seats in front of the gate.

i've spoken to some who think those three things still aren't worth 400 bucks a month, for me 400 bucks is a fair price to pay for that. it depends on how much you personally value those, really.
