From FT, I learned to read all my CC mail just in case I get a good targeted offer. So I am reading my magsformiles junk mail. I notice it says 20,051 miles, which I knew my real account had about 162,000. Hmmm? What's this?

Log on to my computer, Delta let's me log into this other account number. Sure enough, there is an account with my name on it with 20k miles in it! So of course I merged it into my main account.

My best guess is I took a JNB flight on Northwest back in '06, that's probably what it was. I had no idea it was out there. I am working on 2 RTW tickets in F so every little bit helps, especially when it is free!
