I've tried repeatedly to get into the fad surrounding Whole Foods and just can't do it. It's like they're trying so hard to be all organic-y and snooty that people just pay their high prices for the snob appeal.
I was really excited when I found out Whole Foods was moving into my East Dallas neighborhood. It's been a big disappointment. They only thing I care for there is the sushi. I was expecting something like a Central Market (upscale HEB stores in Texas), but Whole Foods fell way short of expectations.
