Thanks. Some other friends of mine have suggested the same. After looking at the time tables for the Heathrow Express, it seems like it would work out just fine and I really would not gain much sleep by being at a hotel close to LHR.

Out of curiosity, what would the cab fare be from GH to Paddington station? For the Heathrow Express tickets, I think we'll take it into London an pre-pay a return ticket. I see that there is a deal for two tickets return for a decent savings.
