I'd rather fly into JFK on any day. I will be visiting a friend, so I am trying to maximize time in SF.
There is 4pm flight to JFK vs. 11pm flight to EWR. Extra ~7 hours would be nice. Though I agree equipment swap is a risk and I will likely hedge it with a back up AA F flight.
SFO-JFK has a red-eye every night @ apx 10:30pm Although its poping up as the old PMUA plane with 12F & 26C and the Cs arent flat beds its good enough for me so much so that tonights JFK-LAX UA put me in 1 of the F seats I called up and asked why the Downgrade and grabbed my usual 9B
