I'd rather fly into JFK on any day. I will be visiting a friend, so I am trying to maximize time in SF.

There is 4pm flight to JFK vs. 11pm flight to EWR. Extra ~7 hours would be nice. Though I agree equipment swap is a risk and I will likely hedge it with a back up AA F flight.
