Also be aware that many jobs that say 25% travel is typically much more. They know many people don't actually want to be away from home, so they don't want to frighten candidates away. I've seen a lot of these jobs that say 25% actually be 40-50%.

Also, you might want to understand the length of the travel - are you going for a few days at a time to assist with problems or are you going for weeks on end for large scale projects.
