I'm trying to get a low award NYC-PDX (train) YVR-NYC or NYC-YVR (train) PDX-NYC in August. JFK is the most convenient, but I can really go anywhere. Is this a legal open jaw? I have a low JFK-YVR-JFK already, but I want to go to PDX and SEA too. Any tips? The website is making up crazy numbers, like 60000 or 70000 and upgrading my JFK-YVR flight to F, which makes no sense to me. I just got off the phone, and the agent had no idea what an open jaw was.
