Not mentioned in my posted e-mail was the third or fourth or fifth message that I sent to SkyMiles in which I mentioned that the flight had automatically posted to my account right away, just with 0 miles and 0 MQMs, so the CZ system did communicate with DL. I now see that the corrected entry changed the "Z" of "fare paid" to "Y", so this may be also an IT problem for DL. My anger was that this took many more e-mails (seven in all) than I posted in FlyerTalk just to get credit for what should have been simple. It appears that DL just can't get CZ flight credit right.
