Having enjoyed the Le Meridien Etoile for years, I never stayed at the Concorde Lafayette until it become a Hyatt. For me it was a pleasant surprise.
My preference is to accumulate points with Hyatt, but only when I can spend under 300 Euros/night. This is now possible in Paris.
On Hyatt.com, HR Etoile is category 5 and the PH and Place Madelaine are category 6.
