It's wasting your time and it's wasting their time, even if they did hire you, I'm betting you would hate it.
I would like to comment that I do enjoy travelling, but I would prefer to travel from my home airport (Delta/American only), and I would prefer....to stay in hotels that at least offer some sort of desk to work on. But like someone else said, just get the offer and then ask for a copy of the travel policy and ask questions after I have seen the policy.
I don't hate travelling really at all (I am on Flyertalk....). But if this requires making the 1 hour commute to the larger airport nearby, or staying in a buncha Motel 6's....yeah this could get old. Especially if I am not reimbursed for say...the mileage to the airport 1 hour away. My last job required me to commute to the datacenter afterhours with no mileage reimbursement for if there were say...any problems afterhours. I think that is the kind of stuff I am trying to avoid. Where I live we have gasoline in excess of $4.20+ a gallon and I am not running a charity here. I should also add, this datacenter was a 100 mile roundtrip commute. So obviously I just want to have a certain level of quality in accommodations and proper reimbursements. I had a job while finishing up my degree that was very liberal with their reimbursements for travel and miscellaneous fees.
Hell, earning status is something I want to do

, and 25% travel might get me into some of the lower ranks on AA or Delta.
