Right. So bringing an unconscious guest out of the privacy of her room to the lobby where all can see her is how to prevent startling other guests?

Actually, I read it slightly differently. I read it that they wanted to protect the injured guest's privacy by not allowing EMTs into her room.

And they denied police access to the room until hotel personnel had swept it for evidence first? That would happen in the U.S.
