At the interview itself you should ask questions related to the purpose and need for travel - while avoiding soundling like you're hoping to avoid it. So, a good question might be something like "Can you tell me more about the purposes of the travel?" and a bad question sould be "Why do I need to travel so much." Let the employer explain.
Avoid questions about levels of support, hotels, etc., at the interview itself. If the job is offered you can then ask for several things, one of which might be a copy of the travel policies.
I'm interested in your intimidation at the one-on-one interview. I've never had anything else except possibly a phone call at a preliminary stage.
One and DONE interview. As in I might only have....60 to 90 minutes at best to interview with a company before they decide to extend an offer.
In fact this is not a one-on-one, this is a panel interview. With 4 people at the very least interviewing me. I just got let go from my first job out of college after lasting only 3 weeks, and I feel really pressured to make sure that it is not I who am a good fit for you, but are you a good fit for me? Is this REALLY the job for me?
