What questions would you be asking an employer that wanted you available to travel as much as 25% for the first year? The job is for a database developer, and I honestly can't see a HUGE reason to travel if I can remote in or teleconference.
I think it could be fun, but at the same time, I am looking at their locations and thinking....going "there" does not look fun. Do they even have a Holiday Inn or a Westin?
Anyways, I want to hear your thoughts, since many of you have jobs that require a fair amount of travel. The interview process is a "one and done" kind of interview, which does intimidate me. And I think some of you could even spend an hour talking just about travel during the interview process.
Anyways. I am off to continue prepping for this.
