What's really annoying, though, is that my First Plus profile still has the BA AWD in it and I can't get Avis to change it, so I need to make all my bookings by phone. Incidentally, if you book using a non-BA AWD you will still earn Avios, as long as your BA number is in your profile. I only use the BA AWD on the very rare occassions that it gives me a better price.
^ Thanks for your reply, you've obviously go this sussed out!. So I'm guessing that my tactic should probably be to only use BA Avis when I need the free additional driver option and to use the Avis website when travelling alone on business.
I'm slightly concerned about your comments about the BA AWD being in you First Plus profile. How do I check that mine isn't also there?
