Lowu crossing matches the train schedule for closing. Last East Rail train arrives at Lowu at around 11:50p. Immigration closes after they clear all the passengers. For coming back to Hong Kong, immigration closes at midnight, and last train at 12:30a.
In the morning, the border crossing opens at 6:30a. [Trains run before that, but only for residents living near the border.]
