It is the visitors from the US (where people are tip crazy) who ruin it for everyone else.

In Asia, especially at luxury hotels, tipping is not the norm. A 10% service charge is already added to the bill.

Once visitors from the US start tipping, then they would expect tip from all other farang looking visitors!
