Does anyone know where to get discount Garuda tickets? I am looking online and the prices are probably at least 2x - 3x more than the budget airlines, is this normal?

I am looking to travel in Sept - Oct domestically, so maybe I am a bit too early to book and should wait for sales?

I am told the local Indonesian budget airlines are a bit unsafe.
