Just because a mid scale hotel discontinues service, that's hardly a harbinger of luxury hotels discontinuing the service.

Frankly, if I were staying at the ny Hilton, I'd order delivery through seamless (web). Over 1,000 options (200+ of which are very good). Far better than the low quality F&B offerings at that property.

Of course in the vast majority of cases Hilton would decidedly not qualify as high-end. There are however probably a lot of locations in which the best option is a Hilton, as the brand's footprint is so huge.
Disagree on calling the Towers luxury. Spacious? Yes. Luxury? Not close.
