I'm about to purchase a r/t ticket and I wanted a little guidance.

I"m going from IAD to CPH via CDG. The are two flights to choose from. Once has an Air France flight number and it's on Air France metal.

The other is a Delta flight number but it's on the same Air France plane mentioned above.

So a dumb question I guess. Should I purchase the itinerary with the Delta flight numbers to maximize points? Or does it matter which one I purchase? Or are the points the same no matter what?

Sorry if I sound confusing, but for the seven dollar difference in the Delta itinerary (even though the flights are one in the same), I wanted to be able to maximize my points if there is a difference in points.
