When I used the search to book a place in AMS, all of the hotels brought back in the results were non airport hotels, in fact in AMS I couldn't get an airport hotel. Worth having a look through the results to see what comes back.

In hindsight, the booking I made seems quite expensive using avios, and I'm not sure whether it is a good use of miles or not.
